Draft Result Drafted in the 2010 Draft by the St. Louis Rams in the 7th round with the #19 pick.
Low risk/high reward selection. Was one of the NCAA's most feared pass rushers in 2007.

Strengths
  • Athletic defensive end who was once considered a 1st round pick
  • Has the skillset and body type for a rush linebacker
  • Good strength at the point of attack for a small defensive end
  • Can overpower defenders one on one.
  • Has a quick first step, shows a good burst off the edge and would benefit from standing up at the next level
  • Had 13.5 sacks and an unheard of 31.5 TFL as a sophomore
  • Looked comfortable in linebacker drills at the combine and Senior Bowl
  • 4 year starter
  • Has high upside and could be a nice value if he falls into round three or lower

Weaknesses
  • Peaked as a sophomore
  • Has lost some speed and burst as he has added weight throughout his career
  • Production has decline significantly since his breakout sophomore year
  • Does not always play with good leverage
  • Only 3.5 sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss as senior
