Draft Result Drafted in the 2009 Draft by the New Orleans Saints in the 1st round with the #14 pick.
Jenkins is the defensive back the Saints have needed for the past several years. He is instantly their best corner and an upgrade for the Saints defense.

Strengths Has been the top corner prospect for years and could very well have been the first corner off the board in a 2007 CB class that lacked an elite prospect. Has ideal corner size at 6-1. Comes out of a Buckeye system known for developing top cornerbacks. A physical tackler with excellent coverage instincts.

Weaknesses Does he have elite speed? Is he the product of the Buckeye system? I'm not saying the answer to these questions is a negative one but he has not been tested a lot either as team's tend to throw away from him. Slow times at the combine make you wonder whether he is more of a #2 corner or a free safety.
