An excellent value pick. A top 10 talent with questionable desire and effort. The Bengals pass rush is a major weakness and Johnson should be able to fill a situational pass rusher role for the Bengals and has a chance to be even more.

Strengths Has the ideal frame to be a disruptive pass rusher at the next level. Long arms help with separation from offensive tackles. Very athletic, yet still disciplined as a pass rusher. Top 10 in terms of athletic ability and talent.

Weaknesses It comes as shock to most that a player with all of Michael Johnson physical tools is a first time starter this season. If this were USC, LSU, Florida, etc then we would have a good reason for Johnson not starting but Georgia Tech? The big question mark for Johnson is ability to play the run. Has the tools but does he want to be a great football player. When push comes to shove he has not played up to his measureables. A boom or bust type.
