Draft Result Drafted in the 2009 Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 4th round with the #6 pick.
Luigs is a good value pick early in round four and allows the Bengals to fill one of their top needs with the last of the draft's top centers.

Strengths Smart, experienced 4 year starter (3 years at center) who can make all the line calls. Luigs won the Remington award as the nation's best center in 2007 and was co-offensive lineman of the year in the SEC that year as well. Luigs is a strong at the point of attack and guided one of the nations top rushing attacks featuring Darren McFadden and Felix Jones (2008 1st round picks). Despite being 310 lbs he is agile enough to pull and trap. Could also slide to guard.

Weaknesses Does not have ideal strength and is not as physical as you would expect from someone his size.
