Strengths
  • Four year starter at LSU. Played well in big games for the Tigers during four year career. Can start immediately for most teams at right tackle in 2010
  • Started 53 consecutive games at LSU. Unusual for a big man like Ciron Black to not have missed a single game
  • One the best run blocking tackles on the board. Plays with a mean streak
  • Does not blow assignments. Very rarely will Ciron Black miss a blitz pickup in running or passing game
   

Weaknesses
  • Weight could become an issue. The scouts will cringe when Ciron Black has to strip down for the weigh in
  • Struggles against elite speed rushers. Needs help from tight ends or fullbacks when playing on left side
  • Likely will be limited to right tackle or right guard in the NFL
  • Never developed into the elite left tackle many expected
  • Needs to get into better shape
  • Slow feet
