Congratulations on making it to the playoffs! Now it is time to fix your eyes on winning in the playoffs. Setting your starting lineup from your full roster becomes much much easier. The hard part is winning every week against the best teams in your league. Here is my 5 step strategy guaranteed to help you "win" along the way.

Step 1) There is an old cliche to "play your studs." By that I mean play the elite guys with the highest average points scored week-to-week. Their consistency got you into the playoffs, it will also help you win in the playoffs.

Step 2) Make your final waiver wire claims with playoff matchups in mind.  A single loss will eliminate you therefore, matchups matter a lot more. Pick on the defenses that allow the most points to each position. The Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Redskins are among worst defenses allowing the most points to almost every position.

Step 3) Handcuff any starters with serious injury risks, backups threatening to takeover their starting role, or risks of resting in the final weeks once playoff position is clinched. The Falcons, Patriots, and Broncos have already clinched their divisions. The Texans have clinched a playoff birth as well. You will be protected if the worst happens at an inopportune time. The worst can happen!

Step 4) Play keep away from your league mates with any remaining roster spots. Pickup the best talent off the waiver wire so that your opponents won't be able to. Points on your bench can't be used against you to beat you.

Step 5) Fantasy Football can be a great launching pad to build and/or maintain relationships with friends, family, co-workers, or former classmates! The best thing you can do is host playoff party for your league mates with simple snacks and beverages of your choice. You'll be amazed how breaking bread and friendly trash talk can draw your league closer together. Building relationships with your league will likely lead to another great fantasy season next year, that way everyone wins!
