| Position | Grade | Comment |
| Quarterback | B- | No true first round talent, but some quality signal callers who can excel with development in the right system. |
| Running Back | B+ | Some future stars but many of these guys already have some injury history. If they can stay healthy, this could be a surprisingly good RB class. |
| Fullback | - | |
| Wide Receiver | A- | A few elite options plus a deep class make this one of the better positions in the draft on offense. |
| Tight End | B+ | The top two are excellent prospects, but after that it becomes a little more shaky. |
| Offensive Tackle | A+ | The best part of this class, there could be 3 or 4 offensive tackles taken in the top 10 picks. |
| Guard | B+ | Also a strong class, teams that need help on their o-line should be able to find starters in this group on day 2. |
| Center | C+ | The top 2 have talent, but after them it is a bit of a crap shoot. |
| Defensive Tackle | A | Studs-a-plenty along the defensive line, and the defensive tackles have depth to go along with studs. |
| Defensive End | A | Crushing pass rushers for a 4-3 and big run stuffers in a 3-4 available all draft long. |
| 3-4 Linebacker | A- | Some strong pass rushers on the outside and add in some guys with raw talent and teams that are looking defensive early will find talent. |
| Outside Linebacker | B- | Not counting Jarvis Jones who fits better in a 3-4, there's not really any true first round talent. Depth is pretty good with a number of guys that will go day 2. |
| Inside Linebacker | B | Some possible great players, the top 3 all could make the first round, but also have questions about them that could keep them out. |
| Cornerback | B+ | A solid corner class with a couple of playmakers at the top of the board and good depth throughout. |
| Safety | B- | Safety continues to take on more importance as tight ends become more talented. However, the overall talent at safety this year is a little weaker than usual. |
