Draft Result

Drafted in the 2010 Draft by the Cleveland Browns in the 2nd round with the #27 pick.
Powerful runner who hits the hole quickly and fights for the extra yard. Should provide a nice complement to speedy Jerome Harrison. Has durability concerns.

Strengths

  • Came out of nowhere to have a dominant senior season. Average 4.8 yards per carry as a senior.
  • Ideal runner in a zone blocking scheme. Sets up blockers and is a one cut and go type of runner.
  • Finishes runs. Very few negative runs.
  • Solid receiving skills
  • Displayed excellent all-around athleticism at the combine
  

Weaknesses

  • Lacks breakaway speed
  • Durability. Missed 3 games in 2008 with stress fracture. Hopefully it is not a recurring injury.
  • Only one dominant season at Tennessee.
