High upside man coverage corner who struggled in 2009 but was a top prospect entering the season. Good scheme fit who needs to improve as a tackler.

  • Long limbed bump and run corner
  • Displays good footwork
  • Can turn and run with receivers
  • Great ball skills- gets his hands on a lot of passes
  • 4 year starter with 10 career interceptions
  • Good press coverage skills - Has long arms and big hands to disrupt receivers at the line
      

Weaknesses

  • Extremely slight build - not 180 lbs soaking wet
  • Must get stronger to match up with bigger NFL wide receivers
  • Needs to improve his awareness in zone coverage
  • Poor change of direction skills
  • Below average in run support
  • Has talent but is not a fit for all schemes
  • Durability - battled injuries during a subpar senior year
