Drafted in the 2009 Draft by the Detroit Lions in the 2nd round with the #1 pick.
Considering the talent in the trenches still left on the board, I am surprised they went with a safety. Delmas is the top safety in the draft and should be able to start right away in the Lions porous secondary.

Weaknesses

Does%20not%20possess%20elite%20speed%20and%20needs%20to%20avoid%20a%20bad%2040%20at%20the%20combine.%20%20Not%20the%20type%20of%20guy%20you%20want%20manning%20up%20wide%20receivers%20on%20a%20regular%20basis%20(but%20will%20have%20not%20problem%20with%20backs%20and%20tight%20ends).%20%20A%20tad%20undersized%20and%20will%20need%20to%20get%20stronger.
