Strengths

  • Tremendous play-maker as both a receiver and returner
  • Dynamic open field runner who is elusive and changes direction well
  • Extremely productive (1,100 yards and 11 TDs each of the past two seasons)
  • Competitive - a gamer
  • Good leaper with tremendous body control
  • High points the ball and shows good concentration on his catches
  • Anyone who saw him play against Pittsburgh or Connecticut knows he has DeSean Jackson-like upside
  • Showed quickness off line and the ability to beat the jam at the Senior Bowl
  • A good story.  Has overcome a lot of adversity in his life

Weaknesses

  • Needs to continue to refine his route running
  • Did not run a full route tree at Cincinnati
  • More quick than fast
  • Slight build could cause problems in press coverage
  • Can be a little bit outspoken
  • Might be more of a slot receiver than a #1 or #2 receiver
