Strengths

  • Short, compact but tough runner
  • Strong runner inside - displays power and has a good body lean
  • Follows his blockers
  • Good vision - finds creases in traffic
  • Accelerates through the hole
  • Has carried the Syracuse offense at times
  • Productive - rushed for 1,000 yards in 2009 and 2010
  • Projects as power back in a two back system
  • Two year starter   
 

Weaknesses

  • Lacks burst and breakaway speed
  • Not a lot of wiggle - not going to make people miss
  • Does not break a lot of tackles
  • Struggles with blitz pickup
  • Doubtful that he measures 5'10
