Strengths

  • Good bulk at 6'3 278 lbs - looks the part
  • Strong, holds up the point of attack well
  • Very active in the run game
  • Smart football player - played a number of positions for the Bulldogs
  • Excels with the bull rush
  • A nasty, physical player who isn't afraid to put someone through the turf
  • Very productive over his career - two-time All-SEC

Weaknesses

  • Not a top-level pass rusher - will never lead the league in sacks (just 7 sacks past two years)
  • Though he stood up a lot at Mississippi State, he doesn't possess the athleticism to take that to the next level
  • Very poor in space - doesn't have the feet for it
  • Needs to develop more pass rush moves
  • His agility and change of direction are above average at best
