Draft Result

Not the biggest or fastest back in the draft but pound for pound he may be the toughest. Ultra quick and an excellent receiver out of the backfield.

Strengths

  • Dynamic speed back in the mold of Ray Rice
  • Tremendous production - Have averaged 1,293 yds rushing, 351 yds receiving and 17 TDs per season throughout his OSU career
  • Excellent speed, acceleration and burst
  • Natural receiver out of the backfield
  • Elusive - makes people miss and is a threat in the open field
  • Good vision - finds creases and cutback lanes
  • Great change of direction and agility - can cut on a dime
  • Low center of gravity allows for excellent balance and agility
  • Tough - runs hard between the tackles and fights for yardage
  • Strong intangibles

Weaknesses

  • Undersized
  • Workload - Has averaged 313 touches per year for three straight years
  • Runs hard but by virtue of his stature he is not a power back
  • Durability - A frequent flyer on the injury report
  • Despite carrying a heavy load at Oregon State, Jacquizz does not project as an every down back.  That said he is the type of dual threat who could thrive in a wide open passing attack
