Strengths

Classic one gap penetrator. Uses leverage to his advantage
Natural pass rushing skills. Started at defensive end first two years at Texas before bulking up and moving to tackle. 22 TFL and 8 sacks as a senior.
Stout against the run. 68 tackles in 2009, a high number for a defensive tackle.

Weaknesses

Doesn't have impressive size or bulk.
Inconsistent seasons at Texas. Had similar numbers in 2007, but only 23 tackles 6 TFL and 1.5 sacks in 2008. Product of system at Texas?
Body type and skill set is not ideal for a 3-4 scheme.
